Elementary VAPA

TVUSD's Elementary VAPA Program serves all students in grades 1-5 at all TVUSD elementary schools. The Elementary VAPA Team is made up of music, visual arts, media arts, dance and theater-certificated teachers, along with visual arts educational assistants. Students will receive instruction in 9-week rotations throughout the year, attending classes once a week for 45 minutes.  Also, beginning with the 2024-25 school year, Elementary VAPA partners with the Extended Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) to offer VAPA Clubs. These clubs rotate with the VAPA teacher at each school.  Arts instruction for VAPA Club students is typically 30 - 40 minutes, twice a week by grade levels.
