My name is Diana Bloom.  I am happily married with three amazing children.  I have lived in Temecula for the past 11 years.  My experience with individuals with special needs is both personal as well as professional.  I work for TVUSD as a one on one paraprofessional in the STEPSS program at Gardner Middle School.  I have a sixteen year old who struggles with ADHD, as well as a fourteen year old son who is on the Autism spectrum.  I am excited and honored to be a part of the TVUSD’s CAC.

Hi, I'm Terry Hobart and I'm a special education teacher for the Temecula Valley Unified School District. I've worked in this position at James L Day Middle School since the year 2000. I work with general education teachers in their classrooms as well as teaching my own special education concepts classes. I especially enjoy being a part of the special education team at Day Middle School which includes Speech, Occupational Therapy, Adaptive PE, Behavioral Health, Bridge classes and Severely Handicapped classes. In addition, I'm very involved with transitioning 8th grade students into the high school 9th grade classes.

By joining the CAC, I hope to be able to help students with special needs and their parents to create a positive and productive future. I'm a huge proponent of active parent involvement in their child’s education. When I'm not emailing parents from home, I enjoy projects and small farming on the property I live on out past the wineries. My wife and I have 3 grown daughters who all graduated from TVHS (go Bears!) and 3 grandsons.

Hi, my name is Veronica Kubes and I'm a special education teacher for the Temecula Valley Unified School District. I've been at Temecula Valley High School since 1996 and have worked in different facets on the comprehensive high school campus, but currently hol the position of SPED teacher in the Social Emotional Academic Learning (S.E.A.L.) class.

In volunteering my time with the CAC, I aspire to further help special education students and their families. I hope to be an additional resource for parents whether it is helping them understand their student’s disabilities, the IEP paperwork process or transition services.

I have 5 grown children and grandchildren that attend TVUSD schools.

Hi! I’m Gwen Riley and I've worked for the district for 15 years. I’ve enjoyed being a Special Day Class teacher, an LCAP Supplemental Support Specialist, and I'm currently a Program Specialist for Temecula Valley Unified School District.

I continue to immerse myself in trainings in order to have a broader knowledge base to be able to support students and their families. I joined CAC to help the team and to support parents with additional resources, provide parent education, increase awareness of available service options, and support activities on behalf of children with special needs.

I have 2 children that both have attended Great Oak High School (Go Wolfpack!) My daughter is working on her teacher credential and my son is a Marine.
