TVUSD CAPS Program

7th grade CAPS Field Trip to CSUSM

C.A.P.S. Program

Our district has an exciting program called the C.A.P.S. program (College Admission Promise for Students).  This program supports college readiness for students so that they are guaranteed admission to California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) after they graduate from a TVUSD high school.  The program is based on an MOU Agreement between TVUSD and CSU San Marcos.

On March 10, 2020 and March 13th, 2020, we have the incredible opportunity to take our 7th grade class on a fieldtrip to CSUSM where they will tour the campus and learn more about the university system.  Counselors will meet with 7th graders in February to share information about this field trip and give them a field trip permission form.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CHAPERONE ON FUTURE FIELD TRIPS?  Click on the following link to sign up and someone will be contacting you.
