School Site Council Ballot--Please vote

 

Margarita Middle School is now holding elections for School Site Council (SSC). We invite you to vote for 3 parent/community members. Each person may only vote once. 
 
School Site Council is composed of equal numbers of staff and parent representatives who serve a 1-2 year term. They meet throughout the year to oversee the implementation of various programs in the school, including state and federally-funded programs.  The School Site Council is a governing body which is responsible for deciding how to spend Title I money to improve the instructional programs here at Margarita Middle School. The School Site Council members work together to set goals for improving student achievement at the school, allocate the funds to accomplish those goals, and evaluate the effectiveness of current programs. 
 
For the coming school year, we have  3 parent/community member openings. Please use the attached Google Form ballot to submit your vote or complete a paper ballot in the school office. Voting closes on April 24, 2019.
