3/2/21: Middle Class Scholarship (MCS)
The Southern San Joaquin Valley California Student Opportunities & Access Program (Cal-SOAP) is a well-established outreach program of the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC). For the past few years, we have continued to facilitate the Middle Class Scholarship (MCS) outreach efforts within a few regions, including yours. We hope to continue to count on your support to distribute valuable information to students and parents regarding MCS.
The Middle Class Scholarship (MCS) provides undergraduate students, including students pursuing a teaching credential, with family income up to $184,000 and assets up to $184,000 a scholarship to attend University of California (UC), California State University (CSU), or California Community Colleges with a baccalaureate program. Students may receive the MCS award for up to 4 years depending on education level when awarded.

To apply for the Middle Class Scholarship, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) before the March 2nd deadline. After you have submitted your FAFSA or CADAA, establish a WebGrants 4 Students account to monitor your state financial aid. The WebGrants 4 Students website has been updated and now offers enhanced security features and easier navigation. (https://mygrantinfo.csac.ca.gov/).

3/2/21: Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to eligible children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen, Chaplains, and Religious Program Specialists. We’re the Nation’s oldest and largest provider of need-based scholarships to military families. To give you an idea, this year, we awarded over $8.5 million to more than 2,750 students!
Our scholarships are for military children pursuing a post-secondary education at any accredited school—whether that be a trade school, career training, community college, or four-year university. Additionally, all applicants must meet our eligibility requirements. For more information regarding our eligibility requirements, visit www.mcsf.org/eligibility.
Please note, our scholarship application for the 2021-22 academic year will open on January 1, 2021 and close on March 2, 2021. To apply, visit www.mcsf.org/apply.

3/15/21: Homefront America Patriot Scholarship
The Homefront America, Inc., Patriot Scholarship Program is now accepting applications. The
program is sponsored by Assistance League Laguna Beach and provides scholarships to assist sponsored military dependent children with their post-secondary education. The deadline to submit the application is March 15, 2021, however, early submission is highly recommended.Click here for more information and to apply.

3/31/21: Gosch Ford Temecula Education First Scholarship
Gosch Ford Temecula is in search of Temecula and Murrieta seniors who are looking to pursue continued education beyond high school. They will be rewarding fifty $1,000 scholarships to the next generation of professionals in our community.

4/16/21: PTSA Graduating High School Senior Scholarship
The PTSA Graduating High School Senior Scholarship is open to high school seniors who are PTA/PTSA members at schools with established PTA/PTSA units located within Riverside County.
Applications can be downloaded by clicking here, and are also available by visiting www.23rddistrict.org. All applications must be postmarked no later than April 16, 2021.

5/31/21: PB&J Scholarship
For students who have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically (High GPA is not needed to qualify!).

Revolving Deadline: 2020 Porch Skilled Trade & Technology Scholarships
Porch is very passionate about helping students achieve higher education. The $2,000 scholarship occurs four times a year and is open to high school seniors and current college students!
