Vail Ranch is a sixth through eighth-grade middle school consisting of approximately 1,000 students. The campus was built in July 1994 and boasts the latest facilities to ensure the highest quality education. Located just south of Highway 79, our school services the southeastern area of Temecula. Incoming sixth graders come to us from Pauba Valley elementary and Tony Tobin elementary. Our eighth-grade students will attend Great Oak High School.
School begins at 9:15 a.m. on late start Mondays and at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday through Friday. School ends at 2:45 p.m. (12:25 on Modified Days.)
We have an 8-period schedule. All students have a 10-minute nutrition break in the morning and a 30 minute lunch period. Our 8th period is our P.R.I.D.E. period which has announcements followed by a concentration on intervention and developing effective study habits.
