How do I change my tax withholding? Not enough is coming out for federal and/or state taxes.
To change your tax withholding, you will need to submit a new W-4 form for federal taxes, and a DE-4 form for state taxes. If you haven't changed your withholding since 2018, both forms are required. (The IRS changed the W-4 in 2018. You will see it looks very different than it used to.) The W-4 affects federal taxes only, and the DE-4 affects state taxes only.
