We are excited to share that the Temecula Valley Unified School District is launching a mathematics curriculum pilot at our elementary schools. This initiative reflects our continued commitment to strengthening math instruction in alignment with the updated California Mathematics Framework.

General and special education teachers representing all grade levels and sites will be participating in this pilot. Elementary school classrooms will explore two programs: Classroom Mathematics California and Bridges 3rd Edition.

The pilot timeline is as follows:
8/17/26 - 10/21/26: Classroom Mathematics California (CMC), Curriculum Associates
10/22/26 - 12/18/26: Bridges 3rd Edition, Math Learning Center

While not all students and teachers will take part in the pilot, sample textbooks and instructional materials will be available for review at each of our elementary schools, as well as at the District Office. You will have an opportunity to leave your feedback through a QR code at each of the locations. If you view the materials online, here is the link to provide feedback. Since we are engaged in math pilot #1, you can only leave feedback for Classroom Mathematics at this time. You will be able to leave feedback for Bridges 3rd Edition after October 22nd.

We value your partnership and appreciate your continued support of TVUSD’s efforts to provide high-quality educational experiences for all students.
