Here, school site experts collaborate with CIA staff to design, revise, and align internal curriculum frameworks that outline the pacing calendars, unit planning organizers, and district benchmark assessments at each grade level or course.   They ensure that curricula are not only comprehensive but also aligned with the Common Core State Standards, the California Frameworks, current educational research regarding instruction, and the evolving needs of students.

The department focuses on fostering effective instructional strategies that cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of our students. Department directors & Instructional specialists work closely with teachers to provide professional development opportunities, resources, and guidance on best practices. They promote innovative teaching methodologies, technology integration, and differentiated instruction to enhance engagement and improve student outcomes.

Department directors and specialists implement & support a full spectrum of assessment tools to measure student progress and proficiency.
