AP (Advanced Placement) Exams
The College Board has revised their exam registration schedule. Please see the linked slide deck presentation and text below for specific and important information about the changes. The most important detail is the fact that in order to not receive a late fee, all exams must be ordered by Friday, November 15, 2019. The exam order date was previously in April.Please see your AP Site Coordinator with any questions you may have.
2020 AP TEST ORDERING INFORMATION
Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. TVUSD hopes that all students take AP exams for the AP classes that they are taking. Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on college tuition.

We strongly recommend that parents and students are both present while registering to ensure that the correct exams are ordered. Students/parents should click on the link provided on the school website or visit the website listed above. Registration is not complete until students have printed the confirmation page that is provided at the end of the registration process.
For All Courses EXCEPT AP Research and AP Seminar
- DEPOSIT of $40 per exam paid by Friday, November 15
- The balance per exam of $59 paid by Friday, January 31
- The balance with late fee per exam of $64 by Friday, February 28
- The balance with late fee per exam of $84 by Friday, March 13
Research and Seminar Courses
- DEPOSIT of $40 paid by Friday, November 15
- AP Seminar/Research Exams balance of $107 by Friday, January 31
- The balance with late fee per exam of $112 by Friday, February 28
- The balance with late fee per exam of $122 by Friday, March 13
LAST DAY TO PAY IN FULL SO THE EXAM IS NOT CANCELLED - Friday, March 13th
CANCELLED EXAMS: Any student who has registered for an AP exam but cancels or does not pay for the exam prior March 13th will lose the nonrefundable deposit of $40.00.
NO MAKE-UP EXAMS: If you are absent on exam day you will need to purchase an alternative exam.
FINANCIAL AID:? Fees for AP Exams are reduced to $20 for low-income families. To request a fee reduction, the student must present a copy of the District APPROVED letter for Free and Reduced lunch and a completed Student Eligibility Form to site administration. Meal applications for Free or Reduced Price Meals are available at the Temecula Valley School District Nutrition Services Department website http://temeculafreshfood.com. Approval of free/reduced meal applications may take up to 10 days.? All late and cancellation fees apply per the calendar schedule above.
