Principal

  • Mr. Hackney

I am extremely excited and honored to be joining the Crowne Hill Elementary School family as your new principal and lead a school with such amazing students, families, and staff members.

I look forward to building relationships with all students, staff, families and community members to continue to provide a strong academic and safe environment conducive to student achievement.

I have been in education for over 13 years with the past three as an Elementary Principal, and look forward to bringing my experiences and integrating those experiences into the culture of Crowne Hill.  My family and I live in the Temecula community and I have two children, Harrison (7) and Stella (5), that both attend Temecula Valley Unified Schools.

Along with all staff, I can’t wait to support all students in their transition back into full day instruction on a daily basis.  It is my mission to ensure students feel successful, connected, and safe while attending school.  I will spend a lot of time with your children getting to know their personalities and interests and look forward to celebrating successes with your child, both small and large.  Each student at Crowne Hill is a valuable member of our family and culture and I will strive to bring out the best in all students!

Once again, I am excited to be part of the Crowne Hill community and lead such a great school.  I can’t wait to get to know you and your children through the school year!

Assistant Principal

I am incredibly excited and honored to serve as Crowne Hill’s Assistant Principal for the 2022-2023 school year. This will be my second year at Crowne Hill, and to say I am delighted to spend another year at this wonderful school is an understatement. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the fabulous community that makes up Crowne Hill last year and I am excited to continue developing the relationships that I’ve made and to make many more this year.

This will be my ninth year in education and my second year as an administrator. I have a Master’s Degree in Administrative Services from Fresno Pacific University and a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Bakersfield in Liberal Studies. I have an Administrative Services credential, a Mild-Moderate Special Education credential, and a Multiple Subjects certificate.

My family and I have lived in Temecula for 3 years and it seems like we fall more in love with this city and community each year that we are here. I have been married for 6 years and we have 4 children together. Kolton (16), Jaice (14), Jaxson (5) and Kaiah (1) keep us very busy, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! Together as a family we love to travel, especially to our happy place on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Our school theme this year is “One School, One TEAM” which is going to be the driving force to providing a quality education academically, socially and emotionally for all students at Crowne Hill, no matter what. The acronym TEAM stands for “Together Everyone Achieves More”, which is exactly what our vision is for the year. I have no doubt that the incredible students, staff, families and community of Crowne Hill are going to do great things this year.

Again, I am honored to serve as Crowne Hill’s Assistant Principal this year and I look forward to seeing all of the students returning and new as this year “kicks off” to a great start!
