Dear Crowne Hill Families,
The start of our new school year is fast approaching! We look forward to welcoming our students back on Wednesday, August 15 at 8:55 a.m. This first day of school is a modified day with dismissal at 1:00 p.m. Please check your Infinite Campus Parent Portal after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14. You will have access to the class assignment, including the teacher’s name and room number.
In order to improve our drop-off and pick-up routines, we will now use the upper loop for vehicles. School staff members will monitor the upper loop and direct students to the stairs for access to the school gates. The lower lot will continue to be teacher and staff parking only, as well as a loading and unloading zone for buses. Please see attachment for additional information. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Finally, it is an honor for me to join the wonderful Crowne Hill Elementary team and to serve this community as the school principal. I appreciate that you have entrusted us with the education of your precious children. I have been a school site administrator in the Temecula Valley Unified School District for 15 years, and an educator for 31 years. I am truly excited for this opportunity to be a part of this amazing school and I look forward to getting to know our families.
Principal - Crowne Hill Elementary
I am very excited to be at Crowne Hill Elementary for my second year! I love working with the students and staff, and proud to be a part of such a wonderful school community.
I have been in education for over 20 years and my passion for education, students and working at a school site, has not diminished at all over the past two decades. If anything, it has gotten stronger, I started my educational career in Redondo Beach Unified School District where I taught first, third, and fourth grades. When I moved to Temecula in 2005, I stayed home with my two children for several years. When I started working again, it would be as a Literacy Coach in Hemet Unified before getting hired as a Literacy Specialist in Temecula. This marks my 5th year in Temecula Valley Unified and four years as an Assistant Principal. I have worked at several elementary schools in the district and I look forward to a great year here at Crowne Hill.
Our theme this year is to, “Keep Going and Growing. Make Your Mark,” and this exactly what I plan to do as I continue to grow as an educator and administrator this school year. I hope to make my mark on the students and staff here at CHES, as they have certainly made their mark on me!
I have an open door policy and would love to hear from you if you ever have any questions or concerns.
I look forward to an amazing 2018-19 school year here at Crowne Hill!
