The PTA here at RED HAWK is dedicated to enhancing your child’s educational experience by joining forces with you – the parents, the staff and teachers, along with the community in which we live. By joining PTA you can be as involved in our events and programs as you choose. It is not a requirement to attend monthly meetings or volunteer at PTA functions. However, involvement of our members is always welcomed, encouraged and appreciated! By becoming involved it gives you a say in what we do and makes the organization ONE VOICE STRONGER.
Red Hawk PTA has a long history of sponsoring a variety of programs on campus, which go beyond the daily academics of the classroom and hopefully enhancing your child’s elementary school experience. Some of these events/programs include:
- Tea & Tissues – orientation for Kindergarten parents
- Fall Festival
- Book Fairs
- Holiday Shop
- Accelerated Reading Program (AR)
- Library Award Winning Book program
- Field Trips
- Scholarships ($300 to past Red Hawk student)
- Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week
- Running Club
- And many more!!!
Becoming a member of the Red Hawk PTA shows your child that school is important and that you support their education! You can join the Red Hawk PTA by simply filling out a membership envelope, paying the $8.00 yearly dues, and returning it to your child’s teacher.
1) The first class that reaches the most members by September will get a special party!
2) Please make checks payable to Red Hawk PTA. Dues are $8.00 per membership.
Looking forward to meeting you, and THANK YOU!
