Mr. Morton

Marvin Morton, Principal

  • On behalf of the Temecula Middle School Bobcat staff, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2024-25 school year. Our motto for the year, “Effort and Attitude”, was chosen to remind our students that we can accomplish most anything we set our minds to. Our attitudes and level of effort are within our control and when we harness their power, anything is possible.

A little about me: I grew up in Lakewood, California, and attended UCLA after graduating from high school. I taught in Los Angeles for eight years before moving to Margarita Middle School in Temecula in 2006.  After teaching at MMS for a few years, I moved to Chaparral High School where I was a math teacher, wrestling coach, athletic director and an assistant principal. I joined the TMS staff as principal in 2017. When I have free time, I like to spend the day barbecuing, reading, playing sports, and catching a UCLA football or basketball game.
