Welcome to the 2019/20 school year.  I am Lisa Shanahan and I teach Health Science, PE Fitness Walking, Senior Seminar, and Apex at Rancho Vista High School.  I am in my 21st year teaching wth Temecula Valley Unified School District.  I have a Bachelors Degree from California State University San Marcos and a Masters Degree in Education from Concordia University in Irvine.  I have 2 single subject credentials in Health Science and Physical Education, as well as a CLAD multiple subject teaching credential.  I am also a GATE certified teacher for TVUSD. 

My husband is a high school teacher in San Diego and teaches Health Science and PE. We have 2 sons, Michael is a freshman at California State University San Marcos and plays baseball for the CSUSM baseball team and Brendan is a freshman at Great Oak high School and plays baseball on the Great Oak JV team.  I enjoy being involved in all of their baseball activites, as well as excercising, spending time with my extended family, and traveling.
