I am excited to be part of the Great Oak Science Department and to be teaching AP, IB and standard Physics. I love my family, running and teaching! Physics is AMAZING and I love sharing my excitement for this subject with students and helping them develop high level critical thinking skills.

I also love to run and spend time training for races. Currently, I have run 18 full marathons, with that number changing again soon, and with 6 of them being the Boston Marathon. I will be running the St. George Marathon in October and the Revel Big Bear Marathon in November. I will also be running the Boston Marathon again in 2020. Training happens early each morning in order for me to take as little time as possible away from my family, so students will find I am available during and after school, but not usually before school.
My family has a fun Halloween/Christmas Tradition. Each year we dress up in some sort of theme, take pictures at Halloween and then turn the image into our Christmas card. The picture below is my family in 2018, embracing our inner dragons :) .
