Hello! I am Mrs. Myers and this is my 20th year of teaching. I have taught most of the social science classes grades 7-12 but am currently teaching Government, US History and AP US History. In addition to teaching, I am the adviser for the CHS chapter of Rho Kappa Social Science Honor Society and the US History Team Lead. I am very passionate about history, having visited all 50 states and all 7 continents. I take my digital camera everywhere I go!

My goal as an educator is for students to experience history and leave my classroom liking history more than they did before. I also strive to show students that they can learn something new every day. Modeling life long learning, I attend and present at several conferences each year. I am a game designer and authorized trainer for Breakout Edu, the educational version of escape rooms.

When I am not teaching or attending conferences, I keep busy with my family. My husband and I have been married since 2005 and we have a 6 year old daughter who is in 1st Grade.
