Mrs. Lisa Gooch

Hello!  I'm so excited to be here for my third year at Margarita Middle School, and my TWELVETH YEAR in the classroom!  I've been teaching math for over a decade, and I love it!  

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Education, which makes me the perfect fit as your new math teacher.  I love to spend my time with friends, traveling, scuba diving, talking about pizza or celebrating my favorite holiday - Taco Tuesday.

    • Composition Notebook (for math only)
    • Graph paper
    • Math Workbook 

    Optional:

    • Rulers
    • Markers or colored pencils
    • Scientific calculator

    Class Donations:  

    Class donations are not expected and are certainly not mandatory, but greatly appreciated!  We are always in need of tissues, pencils, copy paper, lined paper, graph paper, expo markers, colored pencils, highlighters, erasers, sanitizing wipes, etc.  Thank you!

  • I'm lost and confused on the homework.  What should I do?

    • Check your notes!  We do examples that look similar to your homework every day in class.
    • Google!  A lot of really great math teachers put resources online to help you out.  You can try even youtube.com
    • Email Mrs. Gooch, and she will email you back as soon as possible.
