My name is Steve, I grew up on the East Coast, in the beautiful, yet often times, cold, muggy, or rainy, state of Connecticut.

While there I completed my undergraduate work at UConnreceiving a BA in English. I then joined the Marine Corps Reserves and spent a year in 29 Palms, where I met my wife, Pam, another Marine.

Returning home I enrolled in the University of Bridgeport graduate program to gain a masters degree in Elementary Education.

Not particularly enjoying the cold, my wife insisted we move to the West Coast. We spent 3 years in Fremont where I taught 6th grade, and later PE. While there I continued my schooling at the University of Hayward to become certified in teaching physical education, as well as youth coaching.

Next we journeyed South to San Diego County. I began working for TVUSD at DMS teaching science and PE. I was there for three years before transferring to MMS. I've been teaching PE since I've been here at MMS, although four years ago I began teaching Drama as well.I have been teaching for 20 years.

I have two children, a girl and a boy we love to be outside, run and jump and play.
