Hi,

My name is Joel Shackelford.  I teach the STEM and Advanced STEM classes here at Gardner Middle School.  I graduated from Colorado State University in 1997 with a double major in Biology and Zoology.  I then received my master in Multi and Crosscultural Education from National University where I also received my teaching credentials in Biology, General Science, and Industrial Technology.  I have been teaching for over 20 years and am extremely excited at the direction education is taking in terms of Science and Engineering!  I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
