Kent Gerow

Hello everyone, my name is Kent Gerow and this is my fifth year as a Language Arts teacher with DMS.  In addition, I am the advisor of the DMS Morning Show.  I am a huge supporter of performing arts and from 2011-2016 I was the running stage manager for Chaparral's drama department.  I've taught 8th and 7th grade Language Arts here and I am looking forward to another exciting school year.  I am a former graduate of the Temecula Valley School District (I attended Day Middle School as well as Chaparral High School) and I am thrilled to be here working in the same district.  I graduated from CSULB with a degree in English Education with an emphasis in Literacy and Composition and I am an aspiring short fiction writer/novelist.  Everything that we do in class will be posted to this web page.  In the upper left corner I have a calendar with the weekly events/homework, and also copies of any assignments or readings for students to print out if they were absent or misplaced an assignment.  My late work policy and grading policy are posted under tabs in the top left corner.  If you need to contact me, email is the best method.  I will be able to respond to you quicker, my email is kgerow@tvusd.k12.ca.us.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
