Welcome new and returning Dolphins! My name is Mrs. Davis and I'm looking forward to a challenging, but exciting year in computer Science. I have been teaching for 16 years and have experience in many different subjects. My passion is learning new things. This applies to both inside the classroom and outside. I love teaching students how to solve difficult problems and use computers to create something they weren't able to create before beginning the class. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from San Diego State. I also have a supplement/minor is science, and hold teaching credentials in Career Technical Education, Multiple Subjects, and Science.

After too many years it seems (it's much harder to go to school as an adult), I recently earned my Masters degree in Education and continue to take classes in technology to keep current. I began my career as a software solutions Sales Engineer, but after having a family decided I didn't want to travel extensively for work. When I thought about what I really enjoyed as a software solutions representative, it was taking something very technical and breaking it down to customers to make it easy for the them to understand. I truly believe any student can learn even the most difficult concept if taught the right way.

I love teaching AND learning from and about my students. As a technology teacher, it is impossible to be an expert on everything. I believe in being the "Lead Learner" in my classroom. Although I have many years teaching and consider myself an expert in this arena, often students teach me and fellow peers different ways of solving problems using technology. My classroom is a place of true collaboration!

I am a mom to four children and have been married for over ten years. I have been a Temecula resident since 1999 and love this community. I am an animal lover with 5 dogs and one cat.  When I'm not teaching, I love to read and garden. I've also  been known to go to an occasional yoga class and take all kinds of craft classes. I have the best job in the world and I am looking forward to getting to know you for the first time as a sixth grader or welcoming you back as an 8th grader!
