Teacher of the Year 2008-09 Bella Vista MS

Out of college, I worked at the Santa Ana Bowers Museum. In the following
years, I worked as a docent and a part-time employee at various museums in
the country, depending on where my prior Army husband was assigned. I
ended up becoming a teacher with a credential from Texas and, later, a
credential from California. In 2001, my family moved to Temecula where I
    have been teaching ever since.

I  have three older children who live in various areas of California and
a 22 year old who attends Palomar Community College and the California
Technology Academy.  My family and I especially enjoy going to museums, sailing,
old trains, or visiting historical places.

Let's have a great year together with team communication among child,
parent, and teacher. Please use the Google Classroom, Infinite Campus, and this website
for checking your child's progress, homework due dates, teacher comments, and
classroom policy. Our telephone system only allows 951 calls out and it has a poor connection.
E-mail works best and I try to respond as soon as possible. If I have a staff meeting,
preparation for a substitute for a school meeting, or an appointment, I may not get back to
you until the next day. Be sure to hand in the Class Policy Tear-off with contact communication.
