Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Dana Hayes

Welcome to 7th & 8th grade Language Arts. My name is Dana Hayes and I am thrilled to be part of a great team here at Bella Vista Middle School. I am looking forward to a very successful and exciting year.

This is my 18th year in the Temecula Valley Unified School District. I graduated from Azusa Pacific with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development and a Master of Arts degree in Education with an emphasis in Teaching, as well as a Multiple Subject Credential with Clad and a Single Subject Credential in English. I meet all standards for the No Child Left Behind Act.

I have lived in Temecula Valley for over 24 years with my husband Jason, my daughter Kylee, and my son Nathan. I love spending time with my family, the beach, I love to read, and I am a big football fan ~ Go Chargers!! Both of my children are in college. My daughter graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in English and a Masters Degree in Communication at ASU  ~ Go Sun Devils! , My son is starting his Senior year at NAU ~ Go Lumberjacks!

I am a teacher because I enjoy helping students realize their full potential while challenging their abilities and having them experience fun, meaningful, interesting learning that applies to their lives. I am anxious to begin our year together. Class expectations will be high, but I'm always here to help and encourage students along the way.
