Meet the Teacher
Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Debbie Strosnider
Hi students and families! Let me tell you a little about myself. No doubt that I have the absolute best job in the world, A THIRD GRADE TEACHER!! I have been teaching for 25 years, with this being my eighteenth year at Vintage Hills Elementary. In addition to third grade, I have taught math in middle school, fifth grade, and second grade. I have to admit that third grade is my favorite. What I enjoy doing most is spending time with my family, traveling, and excercising. I am an avid runner and I have completed 55 marathons.
I graduated from San Diego State University, and I received my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University. Even though I was born in upstate New York, I have lived in Southern California since I was only two years old. I have been married to my husband Scott for almost thirty years. Scott teaches at Great Oak High School here in Temecula. We have three awesome children. Our two sons and daughter in law are all teachers. Our youngest, Dayna, is a senior at San Diego State University, and she will be graduating this year and continuing on with a credential/masters program to become a high school math teacher.
Here at Vintage Hills, I believe that having a positive attitude and taking pride in all we do is key to our success! Together let's make it a great year!
