My name is Meagan Woods and I am very excited to be your child’s first grade teacher.  I grew up in Oceanside and Vista but left for northern California to attend the University of California, Berkeley. I returned to Southern California after completing my bachelor’s degree and worked in both Vista and Oceanside school districts as a literacy teacher. I began teaching full time in 2005 and completed my master’s degree in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction at San Diego State University in 2008. I have been fortunate enough to work in school districts in Carlsbad and Temecula. I also spent 5 years teaching at a charter school in Menifee. I have taught kindergarten, 1^st grade and 2^nd grade. I feel so fortunate to be a part of the Tony Tobin community!
