Hi! My name is Vicki McBride and I am a Transitional Kindergarten teacher at Tony Tobin Elementary School. I have been a part of the Trailblazer team since its opening in 2006. In addition to teaching in Room 1, I am the Director of the school chorus, "Trail "dazzlers", I enjoy being involved in many schoolwide activities that include Student Council and Spirit Team.. When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, who is a High School Math teacher. We live in Fallbrook in what I like to call our "UP" house because we live on top of a hill. We are blessed to have two sons, Zach and Cory. Both boys are married and we have four grandchildren. My family and I attend Rancho Community church. Together we go on bike rides, vacations, play games, watch indoor / outdoor movies and hang out at the beach. I love to decorate my house, go shopping ( quite evident by the number of Amazon boxes stacked in my garage), spend quality time with my family and create engaging lessons for my students. Teaching has always been my passion and I can't imagine doing anything else. The students, staff and parents at TTES are top notch. I am fortunate to have the opportunity everyday to learn and grow as an educator. I am proud to call myself a teacher and lucky to call TTES my home away from home.
