Ms. Kate Dixon
Dear TES Tiger Families,
My name is Ms. Kate Dixon and I am so excited to be your child’s 4th grade teacher for the 2021-2022 school year! I would like to tell you about myself. I live in nearby Murrieta with my 7-year-old daughter. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree, with a major of Human Development, from California State University, San Marcos. I also earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from CSUSM. I earned my Master’s degree in Educational and Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University. I grew up in the nearby community of Fallbrook, where my parents continue to reside. I am the youngest of six children. Three of my sisters are teachers as well. We all love working in the field of education!
This will be my first year teaching 4th grade at Temecula Elementary School. Previously, I taught 2nd grade fpr 4 years and a Kindergarten/1st grade combo class here at TES. Before that, I was a substitute teacher in the district and a long-term substitute Kindergarten teacher at La Paloma Elementary School in Fallbrook. I also did my student teaching in Fallbrook in 1st and 4th grades. I LOVE teaching 2nd grade and feel very lucky to be working at such a wonderful school! It is going to be a GREAT school year!
