Degrees and Certifications:

Miss Heather Sharp

My name is Heather Sharp and I will be your child's special education teacher this year.  I have been teaching special education since July 2000.  I have a variety of experience in special education and have worked with many different disabilities.  After graduating from Northern Arizona University with Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education in May 2000, I taught for two years in an elementary Special Day Class in Hemet, California. The following two years were spent in Kodiak, Alaska, as the Itinerant Special Education Teacher.  This job required traveling to the villages to provide service to students and helping the general education teachers implement the specially designed instruction. After my Alaskan experience, I moved to Washington where I taught the Primary Development Program. The children in the program had moderate to severe disabilities.  I have been teaching at Crowne Hill Elementary since August 2005.
