Mrs. Jessica Duff

This year marks the 31st school year as an educator in the Temecula Valley School Distict.  My entire career to date has been in grades K-2, and I have been part of Abby Reinke Elementary since it opened. I absolutely love to teach students of this age. In my class, we work and play hard. I believe in a consistent, structured,  and systematic presentation of curriculum. That doesn't mean that I don't like to have fun though. I think good teachers know how to blend both very well, so that students make consistent progress, but love all aspects of school.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration.  I have two grown children who both attended TVUSD schools and graduated from TVHS.

Welcome back to school. We are off and running. Hold on tight because the first few months of a new school year are a little like bootcamp.  We are busy learning rules, procedures, and expectations. All of this is very important to setting up a well running and cohesive classroom environment that helps each and every student be successful. Successful school years are those that have parents, students, and teachers all working together to achieve common goals.  My goals, every year, include building a positive and caring classroom environment where everyone feels safe to take risks, make mistakes, is supported and encouraged. In this way,  we increase the chances that each student wants to be an active participant in their learning, and be internally motivated to grow academically, socially, and in self confidence.
