Monica Abarca
This is my 21st year teaching! I am a graduate of California State University San Marcos, with a degree in Liberal Studies, Magna Cum Laude. I also have my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in teaching through the arts from Lesley University. I taught third grade my first year of teaching at French Valley Elementary for TVUSD. Then, I moved on to open Alamos in 2004 and am proud to be one of the originals still teaching here! I hope to make this year an exciting, yet challenging learning experience for all of my students. I am committed to my students and their infinite potential. I love watching your child grow throughout the year, both academically and behaviorally. The upper grades are an exciting time in your child’s life and I’m happy to be a part of it!
I have lived in Temecula since I was a 4th grader! I enjoy hanging out with my family, gardening, trying out new recipes, designing curriculum, creating fonts, and traveling.
NIGHTLY HOMEWORK WILL BE POSTED ON SEESAW DAILY FOR STUDENTS. Please check the "Messages" section in Seesaw for homework postings.
