Hello, my name is Philip Thompson and I have lived in the Murrieta area for the last 24 years. I grew up in the Murrieta School District before becoming an instructional aide with the autism department there for almost 10 years. I finished my Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies through Azusa Pacific University in 2020 before enrolling in their graduate program. In 2021, I completed my masters in learning and technology, along with my mild to moderate education specialist teaching credential.

As an aide, I have developed a passion for special education, and in particular have a heart for helping students who are labeled as emotionally disturbed. These students often exhibit difficult and aggressive behavior that many teachers are afraid of and unequipped to deal with. However, behind these challenges, there are wonderful kids who are in need of someone willing to help them. I hope to be that someone.

I am incredibly excited to be joining the TMS team and looking forward to an amazing year ahead.
