Hello my name is Grant Moreau and I am an English teacher here at RVHS. This will be my first year at Rancho Vista and my second year of teaching. I have wanted to be a teacher since my third year of college. Prior to becoming a teacher I wanted to be a small business owner, but after two years of business classes I realized it was not the calling for me. I completed my Credentialing program at Cal State San Marcos and have a dual credential in English and History. 

My passions outside of the classroom include surfing, home improvement projects, and of course traveling. I love traveling around the world with my beautiful wife, and enjoy the wonderful food, architecture, and lifestyles of the places we visit. I also incorporate education into my travels, and because of this I have sand from the beaches of Normandy, a piece of the Berlin wall, and have traveled through the secret annex at Anne Frank's old house. I will always encourage students to travel around this amazing world of ours and experience different cultures.

In my classroom I plan to promote an environment of healthy and equitable learning. Students will be encouraged to participate in lectures and life skill based writing assignments. Additionally I want my students to know it is never too late to learn, and that if they put effort and apply themselves in my class they will do well.

Rancho Vista is an amazing school, and I have quickly felt the welcoming culture that it has established through its teachers and administrators. I hope the students feel the same way, every time they step on this campus.
