Hello Mustangs! I am thrilled to return to Margarita Middle School after a long hiatus. I have been a school psychologist for over twenty years. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Wells College in New York, and a Master’s in School Psychology/PPS Credential from National University in San Diego. I’ve worked throughout K-12 education, including at the District Office and as a private educational consultant. More recently, I became a Licensed Educational Psychologist and started a small private practice. Although I have loved the different jobs, nothing makes me happier than helping students learn and embrace the many strengths they bring to the world. In addition to my work as a psychologist, I am the author of more than 11 self-help books for parents, educators, and students, and novels for teens and adults. I author articles for TigerBeat, Johnson & Johnson, Parents.com, and Psychology Today. When I’m not helping students or writing books, I spend my time with my husband and adult children, playing games, gardening, and reading by the pool.
