• Today students were given a print out of their current grade.  I highlighted some of the assignments that they should correct to bring up their grades.  These include but are not limited to the assignment quizzes, application assignments, and performance tasks.  Attached you will find an explanation of how corrections work for this class.  Please take the time to do these corrections during break.  When we come back we only have 1 more unit and then it will be time to study for mid-terms

  • Students need to spend the next 2 nights studying for their solving equations quiz on Thursday and their Re-Take unit 1 exams on Friday.  If your student was not elligible for the re-take this time please help them to get their homework turned in so that next time they will have the option.

Mrs. Bloomberg

Hello my name is Amber Bloomberg.  I have been teaching since 2005.  I started in Jurupa Unified school district where I taught high school math for 11 years and coached soccer for 10 years.  I took 2016-2018 school years off to be at home and raise my 3 little kids.  I got my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Laverne which is where I also attended to get my credentials and my Masters in Education.  I also attended Concordia Irvine to earn a Master’s in Athletic Administration.    I am so glad to be back in the classroom working with students again here at James Day Middle School.  I LOVE teaching and I LOVE math and I am looking forward to a great year here with you and your students.
