Erin Nielsen - Principal
Words cannot express my excitement to introduce myself as the new principal of LaVorgna Elementary School. This year, I entered my 21st year in education in Temecula Valley Unified School District where I began my career as a student teacher in Susan LaVorgna’s Kindergarten classroom at Pauba Valley in 2001. Over the years, I have taught various grade levels at both Ysabel Barnett Elementary and Day Middle School, and I joined the team at LaVorgna two years ago as the Assistant Principal.
I am so proud to be part of the amazing LaVorgna staff. Our teaching staff consists of highly qualified educators who collaborate as a Professional Learning Community to ensure the academic and social growth of every child as we prepare our students to be college and career-ready. Our support staff is equally dedicated to your child’s success, and we are so excited to have so many caring adults on our campus. We remain committed to ensuring that our students and families feel welcome and supported, and we will keep you updated with frequent communication every step of the way throughout the school year.
I look forward to supporting all of you and encourage you to become involved in our school community. A great way to become involved is to join our amazing P.T.A. that plays a very active role in supporting our students, staff, parents, and our school. During the next school year, we will continue to hold monthly “Coffee with the Principal” for our parents to ask questions, provide feedback, and learn about the wonderful curriculum and instruction that is taking place at our school. Ultimately, we believe that a strong home-school connection is vital to student success.
Finally, I want to personally thank you for entrusting our team with the safety and education of your child. It is our greatest honor and we are here to serve you.
Christine Eagleton - Assistant Principal
Garrick Stein - Intervention Administrator
I am very excited to return as LaVorgna's Intervention Administrator this year. I have worked in public education in the Temecula Valley for the last 15 years, serving in various roles both as a teacher and administrator. As a 5th-grade teacher and Interim Intervention Administrator last year at LES, I had the honor to meet and work with our amazing school community. I am excited to continue supporting LES as an Intervention Administrator and look forward to an amazing year of learning.
