  • Welcome to Susan LaVorgna Elementary, Home of the Lions! My name is Lisa Brown, and I am so thrilled to be starting my fourth year as your principal. Each new school year brings new opportunities to learn and grow together. Whether you've been part of the LaVorgna community for many years, a few months, or this is your first visit, you are now a part of a special community that places a high priority on quality learning and instruction. The LaVorgna community is a place where character matters and that, above all else, values its children.

We are looking forward to making this year exciting, engaging, and successful for all of our Lions.

    Sincerely,

    Lisa Brown

I am so happy to be joining the LaVorgna Lions community as your new full-time Assistant Principal.  I have been in the Temecula Valley Unified School District since 2001 where I began as a student teacher in Susan LaVorgna's kindergarten classroom.  It is an honor to now be an administrator at her namesake school.  I have taught at Barnett Elementary and Day Middle School, and I am proud that both of my children are products of Temecula's wonderful school system.  I look forward to supporting our students and their families and thrilled to call myself a LaVorgna Lion!

It is an absolute pleasure to be part of the Susan LaVorgna team as your Elementary Intervention Administrator.  I have just completed my 21st year as an educator and I am excited to continue my career here in Temecula.  During this time, I spent 9 years out of the classroom as both a Literacy/Instructional Coach and Intervention Coordinator.  The rest of my experience has been as a classroom teacher teaching 2nd through 5th grades.  I look forward to meeting our students, staff, and families to provide support any way I can.  My hope is to bring my experience in collaboration and contribute to the already hard-working team that has been established.
