  • What is ELAC?
    ELAC (E-lac) stands for English Learner Advisory Committee. It is a committee that includes PVES parents, administrators, and teachers. ELAC is responsible for monitoring the services and support for our English Language Learners.  The purpose of ELAC is to provide training and information for our parents of English Language Learners as well as collect important input about our school programs. ELAC meets 4-5 times per year. Our meetings for the 2023-2024 school year are scheduled for:

    Meeting #1 - September 16, 2024 (in person in MPR)
    Meeting #2 - November 6, 2024 at 9:00am (in person in MPR)
    Meeting #3 - January 15, 2025 
    Meeting #4 - March 3, 2025 
    Meeting #5 - April 21, 2025

    At PVES, our ELAC meets to discuss the needs of our English Learner students. We need you to come, share your feedback, and tell us how we can best support your child and family.

    The District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) meets to improve student achievement for English Learners by providing input into the types of programs and services available to English Learners in the District. Please click on the picture below to access the DELAC website.
