English 11 A/B:

The goal of this course is to help students meet the literacy and writing standards needed to succeed in academic settings and in the workplace. Students will meet course standards and objectives through guided and independent practice. The literary focus for English 11 is American Literature.

English 12 A/B:

English 12 is an Expository Reading and Writing Course, meaning it is a rhetoric-based (persuasive speaking/writing) English language arts course designed to develop academic literacy (analytical reading, writing, & thinking).

ELD Support:

ELD, or English Language Development, is designed to help students become English proficient with a focus on reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
