    TVUSD's Grab and Go meal service will resume for all TVUSD families on Monday, April 6, 2020.  TVUSD’s MEAL SERVICE LOCATIONS Drive-Thru or Curbside Pick Up Meal Services will be held at three sites from 12 noon to 1 p.m.

    • French Valley Elementary School: 36680 Cady Rd, Winchester, CA 92596

Internet and Wifi Resources

  • We have assembled the following list of internet provider information that may be able to assist families. You will need to follow up with the providers independently for service.

    Internet Service Providers

    (You must live within their service area. Please check with these home Internet service providers to see if you qualify.

    • Comcast / Xfinity - Low-income families can sign up for their Affordable Internet at Home program. Normally, this service is $9.95 per month. For now, new customers who qualify will receive two months of free service (https://www.internetessentials.com).

    • Spectrum - There are reports that Spectrum will provide some level of free access to low-income customers in their area. Although we have no official word from Spectrum, please contact them to see if your address qualifies for this free service (https://www.spectrum.com/browse/content/spectrum-internet-assist).

    • Frontier FIOS - No announcements have been made by Frontier FIOS at this time about providing free access for low-income families. Please call 1.855.401.7018 to see if they offer no-cost service in your area due to COVID-19.


    Wireless Carriers

    • Sprint

      • Customers with metered data plans will receive unlimited data per month for 60 days (a minimum of two bill cycles) at no extra cost.

      • We will provide customers with an additional 20GB of mobile hotspot data per month for 60 days (a minimum of two bill cycles) at no extra cost.

    • T-Mobile

      • ALL T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile customers on our current plans with limited data with data will automatically have unlimited smartphone data for the next 60 days (excluding roaming). No action required.

      • T-Mobile postpaid and Metro customers on smartphone plans with mobile hotspot data can add 10GB of Smartphone Mobile HotSpot each month for the next two (20GB total) – coming soon.

    • AT&T Wireless

      • At this point, we have not found any specifics on how AT&T may support customers in general and low-income families in particular. If you are an AT&T customer, please reach out to them

    *Low-income families who are unable to access any of the above free services at home may qualify to receive a loaner device from TVUSD. More information is forthcoming from TVUSD.

    PBSkids
    The website for children’s programming aired by the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) in the United States.

    Experiencing America: A Smithsonian Tour through American History
    Dr. Richard Kurin, the Smithsonian Institutes Distinguished Scholar and Ambassador-at-Large offer this 12-hour video course at The Great Courses, which you can access within a free trial.

    National Geographic Kids
    Child-focused resources about animals, science, history, people and places from around the world from The National Geographic Society.

    Colorations educational craft ideas
    This is a website we maintain with hundreds of educational and grade-appropriate craft ideas that you can do at home.

    Storytime From Space

    Videos of astronauts reading STEM-themed books from the International Space Station brought to you by the non-profit Storytime From Space.

    Steve Spangler Science experiments you can do at home
    This is a site established by science guy Steve Spangler, who’s been on ‘The Ellen Show’ over 20 times, with close to 400 science experiments you can do at home.

    A Children’s Guide to Folklore and Wonder Tales
    Dr. Hannah Blevins Harvey, treats you to dynamic, theatrical, and engaging tellings of cherished tales from around the world, through this 12-hour video course at The Great Courses, which you can access within a free trial.

    Really Good Stuff student activity printables
    There are about 40 free printable student activities on this page from K-6 company Really Good Stuff, which you can do at home, especially if you have limited resources.

    Kidomi digital education appropriate for children

    This is a 2018 National Parenting Product Awards Winner from Fingerprint Play and is a subscription app for kids 6 – 12 with thousands of hours of games, books, and videos. You can sign up for a free trial.

    ABCmouse Digital Education
    This is a digital education program from the award-winning company The Age of Learning, with subjects including reading and language arts, math, science, health, social studies, music, and art. You can sign up for a free trial.

    Scholastic Learn at Home
    Day by day projects to keep kids reading, thinking, and growing.
