  • Bella Vista Silverhawks Dear Parents, Staff, and Students,

BVMS invites you to attend the BVMS site CAP (Community Advisory Partners) meeting on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 3:15pm in the Library.

Why Should You Attend? Parent and staff input is key to helping move forward our academic achievement goals. The September CAP meeting will focus on student achievement by reviewing the released 2018 data known as the California Dashboards. Our school site is unique. Student academic goals, proficiency levels, and how and what our school needs to make continuous improvements are site-based discussions. Your participation is vital to help craft the decisions and impacts regarding these important topics.

We look forward to seeing you there!

  • Bella Vista Silverhawks Attention BVMS Families:

Parent / Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, October 18th from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (doors and gates close for entry at 5:45 p.m.). This is also a modified day of school. 6th grade teachers will be in the MPR to meet with parents, and 7th and 8th grade teachers will be in their classrooms. Teachers will be available to meet during these times on a first come first serve basis. Please keep meetings brief in order to give all parents who attend the opportunity to meet with teachers. A copy of your child’s progress report and a letter will be given to students on Wednesday, Oct. 17th at the end of the day. The letter is expected to be signed and returned back to school. All parents are welcome to come. However, we highly recommend parents to attend conferences if your child is earning a C or below in classes.

    Thank you for your support!

Our 3rd Annual College Kick Off Day is on October 24, 2018

What is College Kick Off Day?

College Kickoff focuses on college and career readiness and is connected to the Riverside County Office of Education Pledge—that all students in Riverside County will graduate from high school well prepared for college and the workforce. Additionally, the campaign is an outgrowth of the Riverside County Education Collaborative that was lauded in 2014 by President Barack Obama for increasing college-going rates in the Inland Empire.
