Anthem Blue Cross is pleased to announce that Scripps Health once again participates in the Anthem Blue Cross network.
As you are aware, the contract between Anthem Blue Cross and Scripps Health terminated effective January 1, 2025. Despite the contract's termination, both parties continued active negotiations. These ongoing discussions resulted in the successful negotiation of a multi-year commercial contract retroactively effective to January 1, 2025. To request a PCP change, members must call Anthem Blue Cross at the phone number on their ID card.

Enrollment Documentation
Health Benefits are available to all employees who work 4 hours or more, or have a 50% contract and above. Enrollment is mandatory for all full-time employees. Upon enrollment in insurance, the following documents are required along with your enrollment forms.
- To enroll a spouse: Recorded marriage certificate and the 1st page of your 2023 tax return indicating marital status. Financial information may be redacted.
- To enroll child(ren): Recorded birth certificate(s).
Employee Group Life
Management, Certificated and full-time Classified employees are provided a group life insurance policy at no cost. Classified employees who work between 4 and 7 3/4 hours may purchase this coverage for $39.17 per year. Please contact Risk Management to find out if you are eligible for group life insurance and your policy amount. The Benefits Summary information from Voya can be found here.
If you need to update your beneficiary information, please complete the VOYA Beneficiary Designation form and return to your technician in Risk Management.
