Elementary School BASES Program

Before and After School Extended Services (BASES) is TVUSD's childcare program for elementary school students in grades TK-5th. Located on campus at all 18 elementary school sites, BASES extends the quality of each child's school experience through nurturing social interactions, recreational activities, emotional expression and intellectual stimulation. Caring, energetic and qualified staff provide an environment which incorporates family, child and community while keeping your child(ren) safe before and after school.

BASES is a self-supporting, tuition-based program. Please click on the forms tab for the rate sheet and tuition calendar. Tuition will be waived for students that qualify for the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP).

To register for BASES, please click on the Elementary Sites navigation link and locate your site's BASES website. Registration is online only.

Middle School Afterschool Program

TVUSD’s Middle School After School Program is contracted through the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County located at all 7 middle school campuses for students in grades 6th-8th. The program provides homework help, fine arts, sports and STEM activities.

This is a tuition-based program. Please click on the forms tab for the rate sheet and tuition calendar. Tuition will be waived for students that qualify for the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP).

Temecula Valley Unified School District (TVUSD)'s Before and After School Extended Services (BASES) offers a tuition-based Vacation Care Program during July. It is offered to all K-5th grade elementary students currently enrolled in Temecula Valley Unified School District.

Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP)

After School Expanded Learning Opportunities Program

The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) provides students in grades TK- 8th access to daily learning opportunities through before school, after school, and intersession learning programs that focus on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of students through hands-on, engaging learning experiences.

ELOP is offered at 18 elementary schools through TVUSD’s Before and After School Extended Services (BASES) and 7 middle schools, contracted through the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County. Tuition will be waived for qualifying ELOP students. Please click on the link below for more information and to see if you qualify.

It is the intent of the Legislature that expanded learning programs are pupil-centered, results-driven, include community partners, and complement, but do not replicate, learning activites in the regular school day and school year.

Did you know?

ELOP is required by AB130. The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program is required by California Education Code Section 46120. It states that LEAs must provide access to 50% of unduplicated pupils in grades TK-middle school access to expanded learning opportunity programs.

Students in grades TK- middle school must have access to no less than 9 hours of combined instructional time and expanded learning opportunities daily. Including at least 30 non-school days.

We will now serve 6th, 7th, and 8th grade unduplicated students in our Expanded Learning middle school program. However, please note that 6th graders will receive priority enrollment and 7th and 8th graders will be added as space allows.

Who we will serve?

Unduplicated pupils are defined as foster youth, students receiving free or reduced priced meals, and English Learners.
