School Board Member Candidate Filing Information
General Election – November 3, 2026
The Temecula Valley Unified School District is accepting nomination documents for individuals interested in running for the office of Governing Board Member in the November 3, 2026, General Election.
This election includes three Governing Board seats:
- Trustee Area 2
- Trustee Area 3
- Trustee Area 4
Nomination packets, including the Application, Declaration of Candidacy, and all required filing forms, will be available by appointment only beginning Monday, July 13, 2026, through Friday, August 7, 2026, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the District Office.

Candidate Eligibility
Candidates must reside within the trustee area they seek to represent and meet all eligibility requirements established by California law. Prospective candidates are encouraged to review the qualifications for office before filing nomination documents.
Appointments are required to ensure staff availability and to provide candidates with the appropriate filing materials and instructions.
