Welcome to 1st Grade! I'm so excited to be your teacher!

A little bit about me... I grew up in Orange County and graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2002 with my teaching degree. I started teaching in Anaheim and taught a range of grades, plus reading and math intervention. I left in 2011 to stay home with my boys.

Once my oldest started Kindergarten, I got involved at TLES. I started as a classroom volunteer, then was everything from PTA President, a math and reading intervention teacher, a substitute, and then full time in the classroom in 2021.

I have two boys...Tucker is a student here at TLES and Jackson is at Gardner Middle School. I also have two girls...but they're cats, Ms. Pickles and Luna! My husband, Nick, owns a commercial landscape company. My family loves traveling, the outdoors, and getting pizza and watching movies together. I also love to read, watch British TV, and anything nerdy like Harry Potter and Marvel.

As I usually have students in my room, the BEST way to get in contact with me is either email or a Remind message. You can also chat with me at the gate after school when I've dismissed the students.
