Greetings! My name is Justin Evangelist and this is my first year teaching at Vail Ranch Middle School. Prior to teaching, I spent 20 years in the United States Coast Guard. In 2018, I retired as a Senior Chief Boatswains Mate. After retirement, I started substitute teaching to gain experience in the classroom and most recently served as an Instructional Assistant at Chaparral High School in their Bridge program. I am married with two daughters. My oldest daughter is a Freshman at Great Oak and my youngest is in 5th grade at Tony Tobin. I also coach High School football at El Camino in Oceanside. When I am not spending time with my family or on the football field, I love to play golf!
