Library Computers & Printers

  • COMPUTER USE:

     
    THE INTERNET AT TEMECULA MIDDLE SCHOOL WILL BE USED FOR SCHOOL-RELATED RESEARCH ONLY! AT NO TIMES ARE GAMES OR “INTERNET SURFING” ALLOWED!
     
    *Topics that will be questioned by library staff include such things as video game sites, skateboarding, pop music/video sites, and anything else that appears to be non-school related

    Logging onto the computers:
     
    • Each student must log in to the computers using their own 10-digit ID number. That number can be found on their ID card. 
    • Students will be given their password by a library staff member.  Should a student lock themselves out of the system due to using the incorrect password or forget their password, they will have to visit the library to have their account reset with the default password.
    • Students are encouraged not to wait until the last minute to complete an assignment.  Computer use is on a first come, first serve basis.  Therefore, students will not be guaranteed the use of a computer.

     

    Students who fail to abide by the District regulations shall be subject to disciplinary action, revocation of the user account, and legal action as appropriate per District Board Policy BP 6163.4

     

    PRINTER USE:

     You may use the printer for class assignments when directed to print by a teacher.

    We do not charge if you are printing something for a class; however, if you are printing non-school related items, you will be charged 10 cents a page.

    The printer is located behind the circulation desk so we can monitor and view all printed materials.
