20/21 School Year Second Semester Online Learning Schedules
TVUSD's second-semester began Tuesday, January 5, 2021. We remain in online learning PreK-12 with the following schedules transitioning as noted below.
ELEMENTARY PREK-5 GRADES
Elementary PreK-5 grades - TVUSD's COVID-19 Safety Plan was approved on March 5, 2021. Riverside County has also now reached the required 25 per 100,000 adjusted case rates that allow for our PreK-5 grade students to transition to our elementary cohort schedule beginning March 15, 2021. As a reminder, Mondays are asynchronous days for all PreK-12 grade students. Our PreK-5 grade students will attend on-campus learning beginning Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
Whether students transition to the on-campus model or remain in the online model, all PreK-5 grade students will transition to the cohort learning model beginning Monday, March 15, 2021. The schedules are available below.
SECONDARY 6-12 GRADES
We continue to see case rates trending positively in Riverside County and consistent with our goal of transitioning our secondary students in grades 6-12 to the on-campus cohort schedule beginning Monday, April 5, 2021. Mondays are asynchronous, so secondary students first planned day on-campus is Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Transitioning to the cohort schedule is dependent upon the current case rates. On, Tuesday, March 2, our County's adjusted case rate was 11.3 per 100,000. We need to reach 7 per 100,000 to transition our 6-12 grade students to the on-campus cohort model. Because secondary students transitioned to a new schedule at the beginning of the second semester, the schedules below will remain in place when we transition to the cohort model for both online and on-campus learning.
