2022 Election for the Temecula Valley Unified School District Trustee Areas 1, 2, 3 and 4

The Temecula Valley Unified School District is guided by a Governing Board composed of five publicly elected officials. Effective 2016, Governing Board members are elected using By-Trustee Area Election. Candidates must reside in specific Trustee Areas within the District's boundaries and are elected only by the voters who reside in the same Trustee Areas.
For the November 8, 2022 election, Trustee Areas 1, 2, 3, and 4 will be up for election. Board members in Trustee Areas 2, 3, and 4 will be elected to serve four-year terms. The election for Trustee Area 1 is short-term, and will be elected to serve a two-year term due to a vacancy and provisional appointment in November 2021. Between July 18 and August 12, candidates may obtain and file a Declaration of Candidacy with the Registrar of Voters in person or by mail. If by mail, the Declaration of Candidacy may be returned by certified mail in time to reach the Registrar of Voters by no later than the filing deadline. Potential candidates can also obtain a packet of information from the Temecula Valley Unified School District Office, Building #11, between 10 am and 2 pm on the same dates.
