• SCSBOA Honor Orchestra

    The Southern California Schools Band and Orchestra Association sponsors an annual event that brings together the best and brightest from our area for an intensive weekend of rehearsals and an inspirational performance!

    Here is the normal schedule for this event.

    November:

    • Deadline to sign up 
    • $35 application fee due

    December:

    • Auditions will be held for a few days somewhere between Orange County and San Diego.
    • Students can indicate time and location preference.

    January Rehearsals and performance:

    • All accepted honor musicians will receive assigned music parts in the mail.
    • The event is normally scheduled for late January.
    • Students will rehearse all day, Friday and Saturday (students will miss school on Friday).
    • Sunday is the run-through and performance.
