I would like to introduce myself.  My name is Katy DePauw and I am thrilled to be your child's 3rd grade teacher!  This is my third year teaching 3rd grade at LES.  I have said this many times, but I truly believe 3rd grade is a valuable year in your child's education.  They learn so much and I know they will blossom before your eyes this year.  Throughout the school year it is my goal to use every instructional minute to make sure your child leaves 3rd grade fully prepared for 4th grade.  I look forward to a FUN and rewarding year for your child!  

A little about me.....in 2005 I married Mike DePauw and we enjoyed travelling and just having FUN!  On May 12, 2008 our first child, Avery Kara DePauw was born!  She is currently a 6th grader at Temecula Middle School here in Temecula.  On August 17, 2014 our second child, Brody Michael DePauw was born.  He is currently a Kindergartner here at LES.  Both kids keep us busy pretty much all the time!  

I recieved my Bachelors Degree in Communications from California State University, Fullerton and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Masters Degree in Education from National University.
