Students chose icons that will represent them so that they can check in every day and througout the periods. It IS possible that someone could be in two zones (sick and anxious, or tired and ready to work).
Today we began reading this book. It was written by a boy with autism when he was in high school. Each day we will do an activity that asks students to look inside their own worlds and begin to explore their perspectives that might differ from those of others. Students will learn to be tiheir own heroes for themselves and for others!
